Realm Breaker Wiki is a fan-maintained lore archive. This policy explains what information may be handled when you visit the site.

The public wiki does not currently require a reader account, does not sell visitor information, and does not intentionally use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Information Readers Provide

Ordinary readers do not need to provide a name, email address, payment information, private message, or account login to read the public wiki.

Trusted contributors may submit Markdown edits, optional optimized WebP images, a short save note, and an access code through the contributor editor. Original uploaded images are processed in the contributor's browser and are not saved by the wiki unless the contributor saves the optimized WebP version.

Browser Storage

The wiki may store small preferences in your browser, such as saved pages, interface settings, or temporary contributor preview access. This storage remains on your device unless your browser syncs it or you clear your browser storage.

Cookies and Consent

The current public site does not intentionally set advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or cross-site tracking cookies. Because it uses static pages, normal hosting logs, and local reader-requested preferences, a cookie acceptance banner is not currently required for the public wiki.

If optional analytics, advertising, embedded media, social widgets, or other non-essential cookies are added later, the site should add a consent banner or preference control before those tools run for visitors in places where consent is required, including the EU/EEA and UK.

Hosting Logs and Traffic Metrics

The hosting provider or site infrastructure may automatically process standard technical information when a page, file, or editor endpoint is requested, including IP address, requested URL, access time, browser or user agent, referring URL, amount of data transferred, HTTP status code, request method, and protocol version.

These logs and reports are used for site security, troubleshooting, performance, abuse prevention, broken-link diagnosis, and basic understanding of site traffic.

Contributor Access

Contributor features require an access code or other verification. Contributor saves are checked on the server against a hashed code. The public site should not store the real code inside browser JavaScript.

Saved edits are committed to GitHub so changes can be reviewed, rebuilt, deployed, and restored through version history. Contributor activity may be logged by the server, hosting provider, and GitHub to protect the lore archive, review edits, prevent abuse, and restore previous versions when needed.

External Links

The wiki may link to author pages, bookstores, Discord, GitHub, social media, or other external websites. When you follow an external link, you leave Realm Breaker Wiki. Those websites are governed by their own privacy policies, cookies, analytics tools, and security practices.

Data Sharing

Realm Breaker Wiki does not sell visitor information. Information may be shared only when needed to operate the site, provide hosting, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, protect the archive, troubleshoot technical issues, or respond to valid legal requests.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the wiki gains new features. The date at the top of this page should change when meaningful updates are made.
